Mainlines steps to Leather Care
1. Pre-Assessment
Pre-Assessment to inspect and report any damaged components, which are documented on a gridded floor plan.
2. Pre Conditioning
Pre Conditioning prepares the leather for the conditioning process by cleaning it with a micro-fiber cloth to remove loose built-up dirt and dust.
3. Leather Conditioning
Leather Conditioning occurs when a specially formulated leather cleaner and protector is applied to the area and then buffed off. This process removes soil that is found not only on the surface, but also in between the grain of the piece. Most pen and ink marks, as well as other spots, are removed with gentle agitation.
4. Final Detailed Finish
Final Detailed Finish includes wiping down and polishing all plastic, metal, and wood components with a protectant. In addition, all wheels are lubricated.
